A showcase of youth-oriented cuts for the hip set
The funky mixture of cut, texture and colour that are the highlights of the newest collection from Rusk Inc. make a strong, modern statement for spring and summer. Cuts incorporate techniques like zig-zag parting, undercutting and thinning, giving hair an off-beat jolt that makes it seem fresh from the streets.

The updated Mohawk (Photo 1) is softer and more feminine, but still has a hip, edgy feel. Guys who opt for longer hair can go with layering to add rough-looking texture and movement (Photo 2). Keep boredom at bay with bold colour that tips the ends for a raw, grown-out look.

One of the most popular cuts is the asymmetrical look (Photo 3). A circular zig-zag part was created above the widest part of the head and the top hair was secured into a pony tail. The lower hair was cut short, then the top pony tail undone and cut to the desired length.

Concept and hair by Irvine and Louise Rusk,. Stylist Tiffany Pentz and Makeup by Giana, Mally Rancal, Scott Patric.
